In a few words
AIESEP Specialist Seminar on Physical Education for a Changing World
Dates: February 5-6, 2026
Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Participants: Limited to 60 participants
Format: Two-day hackathon
Physical Education has a critical role in shaping values and behaviours. From encouraging lifelong healthy habits to raising awareness about our relationship with the environment, PE can inspire young people to shape sustainable lifestyles.
In a world facing urgent environmental challenges, adapting how we teach and learn is more critical than ever. Using a hackathon, this seminar tackles the vital question: How can Physical Education be harnessed to foster sustainability and sustainable lifestyle development?
We aim to map current best practices and co-create new strategies that embed sustainability into PE curricula and programmes. This event marks the first collective effort in the PE community to address sustainability head-on.
