Serious games: creativity and innovation in education

Would you like to experience and reflect upon more innovative and playful ways of teaching and learning through games?

From May 4th to 8th, 2026, come to Lausanne and experiment with games as a means of learning, socialising and expression for pupils.

Dive into the world of games as powerful tools for learning, social interaction, and creative expression in the classroom. Collaboration and innovation through
play will be at the heart of the programme.

Welcome to the HEP Vaud 2026 International Week

Learn about playing, learning and child development; how to teach sustainability and nature conservation through games; how to create games accessible to all and; about digital games as teaching tools. A forum to exchange ideas with game designers and students/teachers who have used or created games will allow you to discover or share about this rich and multi-faceted topic.
